Privacy Policy
Effective date: 9 October 2026
In short
CADI is a personal AI assistant: you talk to it by text and voice, and it helps you plan your day, creates tasks, timeline entries and reminders, and sends you a morning digest and in-app cards.
To do that, it needs some of your data. This policy explains in plain words what we collect, why, who we share it with and how you stay in control. By using CADI, you agree to your data being handled as described here.
What we collect
We keep only what the service needs to work:
- Account data: your email address and password (stored in hashed form), or your Google sign-in details; your two-factor authentication settings if you turn it on.
- Profile: name, username, bio, avatar photo, occupation and, if you choose to add it, your birth date.
- Your conversation with CADI: your messages, voice messages and the assistant's replies, plus what CADI remembers about you (memory and notes) so it can plan better.
- Your plan: tasks, timeline entries and reminders.
- Files, photos and videos you send in chats.
- Messenger: contacts, one-to-one and group chats with other users, messages, and details of voice and video calls.
- Location, only when you choose to share it in a chat. We do not track it in the background.
- Sessions and devices: device name, approximate city and time of last activity.
- Notification settings.
- Google Calendar, if you connect it: events from the calendars you select.
Why we use it
Your data is used only to make CADI work for you:
- to let you sign in and keep your account secure;
- to let CADI reply to your messages, understand your voice and talk back to you;
- to plan your day, create tasks and reminders, and send the morning digest and cards;
- to show events from a connected calendar and plan around them;
- to run chats, calls and file sharing with other users;
- to show you which devices are signed in to your account.
AI processing
Your messages, voice messages and attached images are sent to third-party AI service providers. They are used to generate CADI's replies, transcribe speech and synthesise CADI's voice.
These providers process the data only to provide this service. We send them only what a given request needs.
Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you connect it, CADI gets read-only access to the calendars you select, to show your events and plan your day around them. CADI does not change or delete events in your calendar.
You can disconnect the calendar at any time. After that, CADI stops reading data from it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or ad tracking.
Data is shared only in these cases:
- with third-party AI service providers, for the processing described above;
- with infrastructure providers (hosting and storage) that the service cannot run without;
- with Google, if you sign in with Google or connect Google Calendar;
- with other users, when you send them something yourself: messages, files, calls, your location, and your profile as your contacts see it;
- with public authorities, when the law requires it.
Storage and security
Data travels over encrypted connections. Passwords are stored only in hashed form. You can turn on two-factor authentication for extra protection.
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, the data in it is deleted too.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell you.
Your rights
You are in control of your data:
- Access: you can see your profile, conversation, plan and reminders right in the app. To find out what else we hold about you, write to us.
- Correction: you can change your name, bio, photo and other profile details in your profile.
- Deletion: you can delete your account in Profile → Data and events. This permanently deletes the account and everything in it: your conversation with CADI, memory, plan, reminders, connected calendars and the data read from them, profile, chats and contacts.
- Sessions: you can end a session on any device in Profile → Devices and sessions.
- Withdrawing consent: you can disconnect Google Calendar, stop sharing your location or delete your account. You can also withdraw consent to processing by writing to us.
Cookies
We use only session cookies, which keep you signed in. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
Children
CADI is not intended for children under 13. If you learn that a child under 13 has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The new version is published on this page with a new effective date. We will give notice of significant changes in advance, in the app or by email.
